Long Island Expressway shooting case, police reveal vehicle involved_1
Earlier this month, a terrifying incident occurred on the Long Island Expressway, where two Asian men were shot while driving home. The police have since released information about the vehicle involved in the shooting, urging the public to help identify it.
According to reports from the New York City police, the incident took place around 11 p.m. on the 5th, at the northeastern corner of the Long Island Expressway and Douglaston Park. A silver vehicle approached the victims’ car and opened fire, shattering the window.
One of the victims, a 56-year-old man, sustained lacerations to his abdomen from the broken glass. The other victim, a 43-year-old man, was injured as well, suffering from a wound to his right arm and loss of vision in his left eye. Both men were transported to North Shore Manhasset Hospital by emergency medical services, where they are currently in stable condition.
Following the shooting, the assailant fled the scene. The NYPD has published details about the vehicle involved and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
