Hezbollah logistics commander reportedly killed in attack

On October 7, Israeli airstrikes targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut, resulting in a significant fireball and thick clouds of smoke, as reported by the Associated Press. The Israeli Defense Forces announced the following morning that Suheil Hussein Husseini, a logistics commander for Hezbollah, had been killed in the air raids. Husseini was an influential figure within Hezbollah, tasked primarily with overseeing the transport of weapons from Iran and coordinating the distribution of smuggled military supplies across various factions.

The Economic Times of India has noted that Husseini was pivotal in organizing attacks against Israel from both Lebanon and Syria. Additionally, he was a member of the Hezbollah Jihad Council, which wields considerable power over military operations and the advancement of precision-guided missiles.

However, The Guardian has reported that it has not been able to independently verify this information, and Hezbollah has yet to respond to these claims.
