Guernsey Ports prepares for busy half-term weekend
This weekend marks a busy time for Guernsey’s transport hubs, as the island gears up for the first weekend of half-term. Guernsey Ports has projected that around 5,600 travelers will pass through the airport and an additional 3,000 through the harbor, with Friday anticipated to be the peak day.
To gain more insight, we spoke with Steve Langlois, the head of passenger operations at Guernsey Ports. He emphasized the importance of planning ahead: “Passengers are advised to arrive in good time for their journey, as it will be busier than normal.”
For those flying out early on UK flights with Aurigny, Langlois suggested taking advantage of the twilight check-in service, which is available daily from 3 PM to 8 PM BST the day before their flight.
