Because he loves “this thing”, 11-year-old Prince George’s dream is not to be the king

During a recent interview, Princess Catherine shared some delightful insights about her son, Prince George, who is currently 11 years old and second in line for the British throne. Surprisingly, George’s future aspirations don’t involve kingship or piloting; instead, he dreams of becoming a pizza chef.

According to the Daily Mail, a recent family outing took place at the Wiveton Hall café in Norfolk, where George, along with his mother and some friends, found himself captivated by the pizza oven. He enthusiastically expressed, “This is what I want to do when I grow up.” The café owner, Desmond MacCarthy, noted that George was visibly excited while observing the oven, calling him “a lovely boy.”

George’s fondness for pizza isn’t new. Last year, he was spotted enjoying slices at a cricket match, indicating his love for the dish. In addition to his culinary interests, George is also passionate about aviation. This summer, he began flight lessons and completed his first helicopter flight under the guidance of his instructor. His father, Prince William, mentioned that he hopes George can freely explore and pursue various interests before stepping into royal duties.

Princess Catherine has previously noted that all three of her children—George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—enjoy cooking. She loves to make pizzas with George and Charlotte, highlighting that they have fun kneading the dough because “they can get their hands all messy.” In 2022, to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Catherine also involved her children in baking cupcakes together, creating cherished family memories.
