On the afternoon of October 17, President Xi Jinping visited the Hefei Binhu Science City to review a concentrated display of significant scientific and technological innovations from Anhui Province. He also sought updates on the local efforts to promote innovations in technology systems and mechanisms, as well as the acceleration of technology transfer. During the visit, he engaged warmly with researchers and enterprise leaders present at the event.

In his remarks, President Xi emphasized that to advance China’s style of modernization, science and technology must take the lead, and that technological innovation is an essential path to pursue. The researchers and business leaders in attendance expressed their determination to contribute their skills and write impressive chapters towards building a strong technology nation, inspired by the spirit of “how many times in life can one take a risk.”
