Israel launched a military strike against Iran, and another country announced that it would close its airspace!
On October 26, international media reported that Iraq’s Civil Aviation Authority issued an official notice announcing the closure of its airspace for security reasons. According to the notification, this closure is set to expire at 11:00 AM local time on Saturday.
Earlier, Iran’s Civil Aviation Authority also issued an official announcement regarding the closure of its airspace, which will remain in effect until 9:00 AM local time on Saturday (1:30 AM Eastern Time in the U.S.).
In recent developments on the same day, the Israeli military launched attacks on Iran. Reports indicate that Israeli forces conducted strikes on Iranian military bases and various facilities from multiple directions in the west and southwest.
French news agency AFP cited Iranian media stating that explosions were heard near the capital, Tehran. However, there have been no reports of explosions from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps military centers located in the western or southwestern parts of Tehran. Sources mentioned that some of the explosion sounds are due to the interception of Israeli attacks by various air defense systems surrounding the capital.
