2024FIBA OPEN 3X3 Beijing 3-person Basketball Open ends
On October 6th, the 2024 FIBA OPEN 3X3 Beijing Basketball Open wrapped up at the outdoor basketball court in the southern plaza of the National Sports Arena. It was an exciting event, with players from the Beijing Enterprises Basketball Club, including Yi Jinhong and Liao Sanning, interacting with fans and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
The tournament featured four qualifying rounds that led to an intense final showdown. Sixteen teams that secured top-four finishes at various preliminary sites earned their spots in the grand finale.
This final event was organized by the FIBA China region, with key support from the Basketball Management Center of the General Administration of Sport, the Beijing Sports Lottery Management Center, and assistance from several organizations, including the Beijing Sports Federation, the Beijing Sports Industry Association, the Beijing Basketball Association, and the National Sports Arena.
Much like the previous qualifying rounds, the final unfolded over two days. After the group stages on the first day, eight teams advanced to the knockout rounds on the second day. In a thrilling climax, the Tianjiu Sharing team emerged as the champion, securing their ticket to the national finals. The national finals are scheduled to take place from November 8 to 10 in Dongguan, Guangdong.
